Green Bay, WI - The new Tru-Pure Ozone water purification and sterilization system will be introduced and on display at the Water Quality Association 2003 Education Conference & Exhibition being held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 18-22.
The Tru-Pure Ozone System uses a safe, low-voltage electric current to create natural ozone that purifies and sterilizes tap water, without the use of chemicals. After ozone has completed purification, it reverts back to pure, natural oxygen. The result is FDA "Pure" quality water (meets FDA guidelines for "Pure" water) along with the natural sanitizing power to kill germs and bacteria on contact. It is the only home water treatment system that provides both purification and sterilization right from the faucet.
First used to purify water more than 100 years ago, ozone has been recently proven to kill germs up to 3,200 times faster than chlorine - with absolutely no chemical residue.
The Tru-Pure Ozone line includes the Tru-Pure Ozone SST model for residential use and the Tru-Pure Ozone RMS model for installation on boats and recreational vehicles, as well as the Tru-Pure Ozone FSS, CSS and IMS models for foodservice operations and ice machines.
The SST unit installs under the counter or on top with a simple connection to the water source, and is capable of producing up to one gallon per minute. Tru-Pure units run on a patented, high-output 15-volt DC, low temperature ozone generator. They are designed for easy maintenance.
